AS is quite new to Hawthorn Education and today had his first lesson with Wendy who quickly ascertained that AS likes football. She provided AS with a comprehension activity where he read cards on different facts to do with the History of the European Cup. He then had to sort in to the correct timeline and pull facts from the cards to answer where? who? when? and how? type questions, to help develop information writing. AS is a big Man Utd fan – we all have our crosses to bear!
