Whilst on an educational walk last week MH encountered the new mural on the side of Hogarth’s. Being somewhat of a curious individual he came back to the Hub and did the relevant research which is reproduced below.

The striking painting is called Mother and it shows a brunette women with piercing blue eyes and an intricate floral tattoo on her neck and arm. The dark complexion is contrasted with the pure white of the baby sheep in her arms. The design was inspired by Preston’s crest – the lamb of St Wilfrid, the patron saint of Preston.’
