At Hawthorn Education, we understand better than most the damaging impact of the lockdown on young people living in poverty or in care, for those with special needs and those who struggle with issues around mental health.
For years, we have helped vulnerable young people to access and enjoy education, to gain qualifications and to develop self-confidence and self-esteem.
Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the UK, our teachers have worked tirelessly to maintain daily contact and to continue to provide education for our young people; making sure that those who are most at risk in society don’t fall between the gaps during this period of lockdown. Our Year 11 students have worked particularly hard to make sure that they are ready to hit the ground running when they start college in September.
